The 1SW Project's latest update is out now.

For the trails in Bristol (or North Somerset to be precise) there's been a lot of consultation work carried out regarding the ecological impact of the trail, with more to come in March.

The planned locations of the new trails, Leigh Woods and Ashton Court, include large areas protected under law as Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), National Nature Reserve and Registered Landscape, so the fact that the design process is spending some time addressing these factors isn't too surprising.
