Another 100 tonnes of stone is being delivered to 50 Acre Wood, courtesy of Tarmac. This is going to be moved round the wood by Forestry Commission contractors next week, and we'll then be able to get on with clearing the trail and fixing any damage that occurred during the logging.

Please bear in mind that the woods are still closed for the time being. A lot of the trail is blocked, and there will be some pretty beasty machines there next week when the stone is being distributed. Once the stone is in place, trail clearance and repair can start and the woods will be open again very soon after.
